Race Result: FIA GT1 from San Luis

Photo: John Dagys     Hexis Racing drivers Frederic Makowiecki and Yann Clairay scored a dominant victory in Sunday's finale of the FIA GT1 World Championship race in San Luis, Argentina. The duo started their #9 Aston Martin DBR9 from pole and thats where they would finish, with almost a 14 second gap to the second place finishing Ford GT.     The victory was enough to secure the manufacturer's title for Aston Martin, edging out Maserati and Lamborghini in the process. Team Vitaphone Maserati drivers Michael Bartels and Andrea Bertolini won the driver's championship.
