 With the current LMP regulations favoring diesel powered cars, running competitively with a traditional, petrol powered car is a steep uphill battle. Highcroft Racing used excellent strategy and a fast, consistent run to take a second place overall at the 12 Hours of Sebring and beat the factory Audi and Peugeot squads.

Its never too early for predictions and with the entry list for next month's 12 Hours of Sebring being released last week, we figured now is the perfect time to state our predictions. We'll kick things off with the LMP1 category. At the moment, a strong entry of 12 to 13 cars is set to take the green flag and a total of 5 diesels headline the bid for the overall victory.

 2010 is a big year for Highcroft Racing. They enter the year as reigning ALMS LMP1 Champions and have been invited to participate in the 78th running of the famed 24 Hours of Le Mans.
